Hello!
We're really glad you're here.
We’re a church for everyone.
Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, new to the area, or simply looking for community, we want you to know you are genuinely welcome at Leominster Baptist Church.
We are a growing church made up of people of all ages and backgrounds, and new people join us regularly. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come. Wherever you are on your journey, we would love to help you find your bearings and take your next step.
At LBC, our vision is simple:
Helping everyone, everywhere,
have an everyday relationship with Jesus.

Gathered & Scattered
We believe church is more than a Sunday gathering.
We gather throughout the week to worship, pray, learn from Scripture, encourage one another, and be reminded of the good news of Jesus.
Then we scatter into everyday life — seeking to follow Jesus wherever we are and whatever we are doing.

We believe following Jesus is not just about what happens in a church service, but about learning to live with Him every day.
When we gather, we worship together.
When we scatter, we seek to live as people shaped by the love, presence, and way of Jesus wherever we are.
What We Care About
At LBC, we're helping people take their next step to:
Come and Explore Jesus
Be with
Jesus
Be like
Jesus
Do what
Jesus did
Raise up
others
That shapes everything we do — from Sunday gatherings to children’s work, youth ministry, small groups, serving, pastoral care, mission, prayer, and community life.
We care deeply about:
-
following Jesus
-
authentic community
-
prayer
-
scripture
-
serving others
-
raising up the next generation
-
helping people encounter Jesus in everyday life

A Church With History — and Hope for the Future
Leominster Baptist Church has been part of the town for generations.
One of the earliest records of the church, written in 1656, describes how believers gathered together after “a solemn seeking of God” and:
“gave up themselves to the Lord and to one another to walk together in all ordinances of Jesus according to His appointments.”
Long before livestreams, projectors, and websites, people gathered to worship Jesus, pray together, serve their neighbours, and share life together. We are grateful for that history — but we are not trying to live in the past.

We believe the church is more than a building or a Sunday gathering. The church is a people learning to follow Jesus together in everyday life — across homes, workplaces, schools, friendships, and our wider community.
Rooted in the historic Christian faith, we continue to look forward with hope, expectation, and a desire to faithfully live and share the way of Jesus in Leominster today.
