Co-op Local Community Fund

Fantastic news – our CAP Job Club has been chosen by the co-op to benefit from the next round of their Local Community Fund!!!!!
Every time a co-op member buys selected own-brand products and services, 1% of the money they spend goes to local causes. The next funding round opens on 27th October 2019 and runs for a year. During this time, co-op members will be able to select us as the local cause that they want to support.
If you are not already a member, you can join by going to
https://membership.coop.co.uk/new-registration
This is a brilliant opportunity for you to support the great work being done by the LBC Job Club to help local people get back on their feet.
Harvest celebration

Command those who are rich with things of this world not to be proud
Tell them to hope in God, not their uncertain riches
God richly gives us everything to enjoy.
Tell the rich people to do good, to be rich in doing good deeds.
Be generous and ready to share 1 Timothy 6: 17 – 18 (NCV)
Holiday Bible Club

Thirty six children have just enjoyed this year’s Holiday Bible Club – three days of
games, crafts, songs, challenges and, most important of all, finding out about
how much God loves and cares for them. Our theme this year, Set Sail, had a
distinctly nautical feel – the two teams of children, the Super Surfers and the
Krazy Kayakers, learnt how God guided the Israelites safely across the Red Sea,
how Jonah was saved by a big fish and how Jesus calmed the storm.
Newday 2019

Sixteen youngsters from LBC along with four from the Christian Life Centre, Hereford, and several leaders have just got back from an amazing week at the Newday conference in Norfolk – along with 7,000 other teenagers from around the country, they enjoyed a week of Christian worship, teaching and workshops interspersed with sports, water fights and relaxation in the sunshine.
