LBC Job Club

Our Job Club is a free weekly workshop to boost the job-hunting process for unemployed people by equipping them with the tools, skills and confidence to find work. It runs on Tuesdays from 10.30 a.m. to noon.
In a relaxed setting, with copious cups of tea and coffee with homemade cakes, it involves practical sessions that include topics such as motivation, identifying skills and strengths, CV writing and interview techniques. We also encourage group support and provide time to focus on individual needs through one-to-one coaching. We end each session with a light lunch.
We haven’t scheduled the next course yet due to Covid-19. However, if you would like further information or need some individual help in your job search (putting together a CV, preparation for an interview etc.) please call 07850 969317 or email

We are one of over 160 churches across the UK who run Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Job Clubs with the aim of helping people to gain the confidence and skills they need to find employment, particularly for those who may have been out of work for a long period of time or are entering the job market for the first time.
